Episode 1: Beyond the Vision Board with Gina CP

Your goals for the year shouldn’t be a weight on your shoulders. They should be guide posts set to help you reach a destination.

On this first episode, Gina CP and I are chatting all about vision boards, words of the year, and more tools you can use to set and revisit your goals all year long.

So many people think of vision boards as another chore on their list of things that need to be finished to start the year off right, but what if it was instead a joy? Ironically joy is the word Gina chose for this year, but it still follows.

Creating your vision board should be fun and it all starts with reflection. Reflect on what worked in years prior, what didn’t, what you would change, and what you wouldn’t.

Reflect on where you are right now and where you want to be when you reach the end of the year. Just take a moment to tune into yourself and your goals.

Once you’ve reflected, it’s time to set your intentions for your vision board and one of the best ways to do this is to choose a word of the year. Why? Because it gives you a focal point to set up the rest of your vision board.

Then as you’re creating the board keep in mind your reflection and your word of the year and follow it through. Think about where you want to go this year and set up your vision board to be a visual representation of this.

Listen in to hear all about how Gina and I create our vision boards each year plus a little extra on why it’s important to be flexible. We had an amazing conversation and I hope you enjoy it!
